Join MOR at ERA Landmark in downtown Bozeman for the exclusive premiere of Mario Miner Jr.’s brand-new music video, “Drinkin’ Man’s Prayer.” Filmed atop the striking, frozen expanse of the Hyalite Reservoir, this video is a testament to raw creativity. A master of a true DIY mindset, Mario hand-built many of the custom instruments, guitar amplifiers, and effects pedals featured in the production. This video was created for MOR's upcoming primary exhibition, "Under a Common Sky."
"I felt that 'Drinkin Man's Prayer' was inspired by old blues folklore with a modern Rock & Roll twist," Mario says. "After watching my music video, I want people to see some of the things that I've built and be inspired to create something for themselves.”
About the Artist: Born in Havre, MT, and raised on and off the Fort Belknap Reservation, Mario Miner Jr. is an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Lakota tribe. From "Frankenstein-ing" broken childhood toys to crafting fully functional studio gear, Mario has spent a lifetime turning challenging situations into artistic triumphs. Through his powerful blend of Rock & Roll and Blues, he shares a profound message of Native resilience, ingenuity, and grassroots creation. Come be inspired to build something of your own!
