Join Dr. Steve Brusatte, paleontologist and Professor of Paleontology & Evolution at the University of Edinburgh, New York Times bestselling author, and science consultant for the Jurassic World films, for a fast‑paced, story‑filled journey through 150 million years of evolution, from raptor dinosaurs to the birds outside your window. Along the way, he’ll spotlight the big twists of deep time, asteroid‑level plot turns, mass extinctions, shifting climates, and the surprising origins of Earth’s most dazzling flyers, drawing from his newly published book, The Story of Birds.

After the lecture, there will be a meet-and-greet book signing with refreshments. The Story of Birds will be available for purchase at the event.
